Wearing Dior Addict Extreme in Incognito
Like a pretty beach bikini, Dior’s shiny new $30 Addict Extreme Lipsticks are saucy and bold, but still leave a little something to the imagination. Lightweight and glassy, they provide just enough pigment and coverage to stand out without overpowering the sheer blushes and eyeshadows we’ve been seeing so much this spring.
Available in 17 moderately moisturizing shades, they’re just the kind of lippies I like to wear around this time every year coach handbags sale, when I grow a little weary of fall and winter’s heavy mattes and full-coverage products.
Designed to go the distance with a long-wearing formula, they’re also supposed to have a lip-plumping effect, but per usual, my lips must be immune…

One thing I do notice about these is how great they feel. I love the texture! They’re so smooth that I almost forgot about the $30 price, and they’re pretty hydrating, too, although I do like to layer a little lip balm underneath.
If I had to compare them to something, maybe the Chanel Rouge Coco Shines, except I think those are a little more moisturizing.

Dior bills these as long-wearing, but I dunno about that. I have to reapply after every meal, and even when I’m just sitting at my desk watching cat videos and sipping tea, I find myself reaching for a tube every hour or so to touch up.
I’m also not enamored with the oval shape of the tip. Not sure exactly why, but it feels a little awkward to me, especially when I’m trying to apply at the corners of my mouth.
But those two things aside, I love how this lipstick looks, smells, tastes (a super faint rose scent/flavor) and feels. It’s just that for $30, I could go for a little longer wear. Three or four hours sure would be nice.

Do you feel it? Abs-olutely!
You know that Jillian Michaels core workout DVD I mentioned doing yesterday? Well, I think it’s working, because I’m incredibly sore, and I could barely move when I got up this morning. To sit up, I had to use momentum to propel myself into a sitting position and do this full-body steam roller move, haha!
Shoot, I can still feel the ache now, and I’m just sitting here in my chair breathing. 
I guess this is what I get for neglecting my core for, ya know, ever.
But other than walking around like a little brown Frankenstein today, things are going well. I hope you had a nice day today.
In other news, I’ve been singing, “I wanna know what love is… I want you to show me!” all afternoon (got it stuck in my head after watching The Voice last night), and I have a suggestion if you’re in the mood to laugh.
If you have a pet, try serenading him/her with that song tonight. Seriously official soccer jerseys, if you’re easily amused like I am, it’s frickin’ hilarious! Oh, the joy…
