Seattle hip-hop trio Dyme Def have been making headlines since their 2006 demo Sportn’ Life, but their most recent effort, Sex Tape, shows that the group is only now hitting their prime. DJ/Producer Bean One gives his MCs some of the hottest beats in the Northwest, and Brainstorm, S.E.V., and Fearce Villan make the absolute most of them. If you want a rap experience free of gruesome and disturbing rape imagery (Tyler the Creator, anyone?), Dyme Def is the way to go. Check out the locals killing it at the KEXP studios here:
