Runway Beauty - Proenza Schouler

Backstage at Proenza Schouler, the makeup artist Diane Kendal and the hairstylist Paul Hanlon repeated the same directive from designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez: The Proenza girl has grown up — but not entirely. “The boys wanted to move on from the last season, where the hair was kind of bed head Coach Online Store,” said Hanlon Coach Online Store, who used Frederic Fekkai Coiff Oceanique Touseled Wave Spray to create an unfinished French twist with what can only be described as a rattail hanging out the back. “I thought about when I was a kid on the school bus and a girl would fall asleep against a condensated window, and she’d get off with her hair all mish-moshed up.” The look paired perfectly with the minimal makeup by Kendal, which was simply cheek contour (M.A.C. Pro Sculpt Powders) and a strong Coach Online Store, square brow. “We’re not even using any concealer, because we like natural discoloration around the eye,” she said. “The clothes this season are much more ladylike, so they wanted to keep their signature girl — very model-looking and tough.” With a cast including heavyweights Abby Lee, Karolina Kurkova, Liu Wen and Isabeli Fontani, that wasn’t very difficult.
